Prayer Blankets

Prayer blankets are blankets made by CDA members and blessed by a priest, which hold those who receive them in prayer. The Court gives the prayer blankets to the sick and suffering to help with their prayers and faith during their recovery.

Priest Appreciation

Annually, our CDA members host a Priest Appreciation Luncheon for the priests of St. John the Evangelist Cathedral Church and the Court's Spiritual Adviser. A local restaurant is selected for the gathering where we also award membership anniversaries, recognize Court officers, and other significant events.

Fall Bake Sale

CDA Court Immaculata's annual fundraiser is held the weekend before Thanksgiving after each St. John Cathedral Mass (except Sunday @ 5 pm). CDA members provide homemade sweets, cakes, pies and other assorted goodies for sale. Proceeds go to local charities and projects.

Lead Rosaries

CDA members will lead the Rosary for funerals when requested and at St. John's Cathedral on Saturdays at 3:30 pm before the 4 pm mass.

Memorial Services

In November, CDA members will honor the deceased Catholic Daughters of the Americas members with a Memorial Service. Family of the deceased are invited to attend.

Sunshine

The CDA Sunshine Committee sends cards and greetings to court members and church parishioners for those experiencing illness, challenges and other hardships in life. This thoughtful act along with specific assistance or prayer is to help lift ones spirits and faith.
