2018 Spring Rosary Pilgrimage
Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist hosts an annual fall parish picnic at Cathedral Carmel School next to the church. CDA members hosts and provides sweets for church members.

2019 Priest Ordination and Reception
Bishop Douglas Deshotel of the Diocese of Lafayette ordained three young men to the priesthood during an Ordination Mass on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist. The three seminarians who were ordained are Rev. Mr. Donald Bernard, Rev. Mr. Randy Courville, and Rev. Mr. Salinger Alcocer-Istre.

2018 Priest Ordination and Reception
On June 23, 2018 the Diocese of Lafayette ordained seven priests.Court Immaculata hosted the Ordination Reception to welcome and congratulate the newly ordained Priests:
